This
was our first exchange and it came about really fast. In the old days
(1994!) we subscribed to Intervac which was like Yellow Pages for home
exchangers. We could hardly believe our ears when we had a phone call
offering this super exchange because we had not even received our directory by
that time as they are issued at slightly different times world-wide. The
phone call was in late January or February and we departed in March. Very
exciting and an excellent introduction to Home Exchanging. We really liked
the house and it remains one of our favourites. Thank you Larry &
Babette.

This
one is not the exchange property. Just as we arranged the swap we got
another enquiry, by coincidence, from the very same city. Although we
couldn't do the exchange we were invited to a barbecue whilst in San Rafael at
their home. An amazing place overlooking San Francisco Bay, built on
stilts. Meeting people like Larry & Anne who entertained us that day
is one of the big plusses of home exchanging.
