We were dead lucky in 2002 as we had a two offers of exchange we wanted to pursue and the opportunities came up at about the same time.  Potentially, both wanted the same sort of time.  In the end we managed to arrange an early summer trip here and in October one to Australia (more later).

Jo and Abi came and Jo brought boyfriend Tony.  We liked the house a great deal and were able to spend some time with our exchangers, Ed & Meg who were on a somewhat longer trip and whom we felt we knew quite well before the swap as we'd e-mailed copiously!  For both of us it turned out really good and we appreciate Ed & Meg's flexibility that enabled us to be in West Palm Beach, USA on July 4th which we remember fondly.
